Department started in the year 2002 with the principal objective of imparting cutting edge technologies to the students so that they meet the challenging demands of the IT industry and grow their career as software engineer, systems analyst, system designer as well as specialist officer in banking domain. Today the department has achieved most important goal of disciplined learning and producing highly employable students and entrepreneurs. Advanced learning tools like smart classes, internet and departmental library, NPTEL, Spoken tutorials etc are available to enhance teaching learning process. We have qualified and experienced faculties specialized in their fields as well as involved in high-quality R&D activities. Unremitting FDP’s for sharpening the skills of the faculties as to improve the quality of teaching-learning process. BCA

With the increasing demand of IT professionals in India, a lot of opportunities have been created for the computer professionals. BCA is a popular undergraduate course for those who want to make their career in the field of Information Technology. During the course, the students learn programming languages such as Java, C++, HTML, SQL etc. It provides the opportunity to the students to make their career as a software programmer, system analyst, network engineer etc. and for higher education they can pursue MCA.

Eligibility:- Intermediate or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject. For General and Other Backward Classes candidates must secure at least 50% of marks and for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes minimum number of marks obtained should be 45% based on total marks of all subjects.

MCA

MCA is a 3 years professional PG degree in the field of Information Technology. This course meets the increasing demand of the professionals in MNCs, banking and education sector. This course emphasizes on core technologies such as Java, .NET, SQL, HTML, XML as well as new technologies like R-technology, Hadoop, php, Android, python, etc. After this course student can make their career as a Software Engineer, Database Administrator, Data Scientist, S/W Design Architect and Cyber Security Expert etc.

Eligibility:- MCA-I Year: Bachelor’s degree from any discipline securing minimum 50% marks (45% For SC/ST).
MCA II Year Lateral Entry: Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or BCA with minimum 50% marks (45% For SC/ST).
Mathematics as a subject in their 10+2 or in their graduate level.
