1. ONLINE EDUCATION Our dedicated and capable faculties have taken the recent virtual /online education as a challenge. They have been able to excel in this new trend in the education sector because of the prevailing pandemic situation. The institution has utilized its experience and technical excellence to impart online education to its students based in the remotest corners and has made sure that none of its students is deprived of the knowledge of education. By successfully conducting online tests and lectures, our students have become tech-savvy in this emerging trend in the education as well as competitive sector.
2. ACCREDITATION BY NBA The institution has got all its Engineering, MCA, and MBA courses accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, New Delhi
3. “PARAKH” - Azad Talent Search Test Parakh was successfully organized in 38 districts & about 115 schools/colleges in UP. More than 43000 students drawn from various strata's of the society enthusiastically participated in the same. The meritorious students of Parakh were awarded in a grand ceremony organized by the Azad Educational Society at the institute campus. They were graced by dignitaries & eminent personalities from the government, bureaucracy, and the social sphere. Cash prizes amounting to Rs.5.50 lacs along with certificates & mementoes were distributed on occasion.
4. Prime Minister Employment Guarantee Programme (PMEGP), The institute hosted a workshop on Prime Minister Employment Guarantee Programme (PMEGP), for generating awareness among the Technical Graduates and Post Graduates of Engineering, Management and Pharmacy about the schemes and benefits of P.M.E.G.P on 21.3.2013. Asst. Director KVIC Mr. A. P. Verma, along with Mr. Ashok Kumar Singh-District coordinator-PMEGP, Mr. Chetan Singh participated from KVIC.
5. NPTEL Extensive use of digital media and the use of NPTEL video course materials towards creating a self & collaborative learning environment is encouraged.
6. EET- Employability Enhancement Test /Aptitude Test The purpose of the aptitude test is to test students work-related perceptions, judgment & reasoning. It keeps the student abreast of world affairs, current affairs, industry needs & provides career-oriented information.
7. GD & Mock Interview They help the aspirants to learn what is expected in a job interview & improves the applicants' self-presentation. Various co.’s are using it to assess individuals situation handling abilities & communication skills for employment. It also helps the student to come out of his shell & shed his apathy.
8. Code Writing-Dot Net, JAVA: With the rising demands of software engineers in the job market, special emphasis is being laid on developing code writing skills from 1st year itself. It is the requirement of the majority of job opportunities in CS/IT/MCA and other streams of B.Tech.
9. Seminars & Guest Lectures: It has the function of bringing together small groups for meetings, focusing on some particular subject & helps in gaining knowledge through seminars and guest lectures by experts in their respective fields.
10. Industrial Visits & Tours: Students visit companies and get insight regarding the internal & actual working environment of a company & how it functions. Such visits also impart useful information related to the practical aspects of the educational course, which cannot be visualized in lectures.
11. Projects: The purpose of projects is to apply what is taught. It is also an effective way to integrate technology into the curriculum. The emphasis is given to real work topics and to involve the student themselves in the real sense. It supports innovation and learning.
12. Lab Practices: The main purpose of laboratory work is to provide students with conceptual & practical knowledge to help them learn scientific concepts. As we believe that to achieve meaningful learning, for a better career, technical/scientific theories & their application methods should be experienced by students and be of their benefit.
13. Student T&P Associates: They act as a bridge between T&P cell & hiring companies and also provide various inputs from the job market, useful for the students, i.e. their batch mates. The basic role of these students’ associates will be to supplement the placement activities, which will ultimately lead him to showcase & fine-tune his abilities in facing worldly challenges.
14. Overseas Placement Prospects: It is involved in sorting & informing the students about various appropriate job openings being published in newspapers & magazines and available on the internet so that the students avail the maximum of opportunities & also don’t waste his valuable time in searching for irrelevant jobs.
15. Training Activities & Internship: It is of considerable importance to students as it introduces a student to a potential future work environment. Helps in acquiring important supplementary skills & make contact with future potential employers.
16. Presentations by Students: This activity helps in assessing not only student’s knowledge of a subject area but also their ability to communicate their thoughts effectively & efficiently.
17. Azad Finishing School/ Alumni Assoc. Activities: It is an exclusive & innovative program to develop a student on all the main parameters viz. personality, communication, employability skills, capacity building, removing of negative traits etc. It is made available to every student of Azad, 1st year onwards.
18. Entrepreneurship Cell This cell motivates the students to undergo Entrepreneurship Development Programme, skill development training & enhances opportunities for students to start their own business ventures & helps in initiating startups. The cell promotes the concept of “IDEA TO MARKET.”
19. Cultural Activity Cell: This cell helps in removing personal inhibitions to bring out the hidden talent from our students through various cultural activities such as oratory, singing, debates, drama, fine arts etc.
